STRATEAU a great success at the meeting in Marrakech
The first Mediterranean Water Forum held in Marrakech on 19 and 20 December. The elite of officials and experts gathered there to take stock of the situation in our Big Blue, as well as on the water situation in their respective countries.
TheWater Embassy organized a presentation of the project STRATEAU in connection with the Mediterranean Union of Young Water Ambassadors. For the duration of the forum, demonstrations and introductions to its use have followed on the stand.
The highlight of our presence was our session "Workshop and Round Table" in the Plenary Hall "Ambassadors" December 19, at 18:30. We knew that our tool of decision support is exceptional, it was a great happiness to measure the quality and enthusiasm of technicians Palestinians, Moroccans and French, who had exposed the scenarios developed in their respective territories:

Gilles Pennequin, Head of Territorial Development and Deputy Head of Mission for Sustainable Development-Union for the Mediterranean-Presidency of the Republic, stressed the importance and value of such a tool for the Mediterranean Basin.
Mr. Rafiq Husseini, Deputy Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean has assured us that after having measured the excitement this tool, its performance and specificity make it the best asset to meet demand and help the decision . He pays attention to the remarks of teams already using it, he stressed that if the implementations of the Palestinian territories, Moroccans, French are convincing, STRATEAU has every chance of becoming the tool of the Mediterranean Basin. ,
All this strongly encourages us to continue our efforts to sustain and grow our tool. The next step was announced by Mr.André Flajolet, Commissioner of the French Government for the Marseilles Forum: This will be the World Water Forum to be held in Marseille from 12 to 17 March 2012. The success in Marrakech allows us to think that STRATEAU continue its breakthrough, for the greater good of the communities that use it, and those who will discover it.
